Your First Visit - Getting to Know You

[Your Third Visit]

Learning as much as possible about your orthodontic condition is our first
step in determining your treatment plan. This step consists of what we call an orthodontic consult. Your teeth, bite, face and profile are examined. Dr. Palasz will use the results of the orthodontic consultation to decide if records are needed and will also begin to determine which treatment plan will best suit your needs.

Your Second Visit - Orthodontic Records Begin!

[Your Second Visit]

If the doctor (and you) agree that this next step is needed, we will collect a complete set of orthodontics records. The records process includes obtaining plaster models of your teeth, X-rays of your head and teeth, photographs and your medical-dental history.

After examining you and studying your orthodontic records, the individualized treatment plan for your case will be presented and explained. Because the doctor will be sharing records with you and answering any questions you may have, this is the best time for parents or guardians to be present if we will be treating a minor. The goals of treatment and any potential difficulties will be thoroughly discussed before we begin orthodontic procedures.
